Rt. Hon. Sir Malcolm Martin Macnaghten was the son of Edward Macnaghten, Baron Macnaghten and Frances Arabella Martin.2,3 He married Antonia Mary Booth, daughter of Rt. Hon. Charles Booth and Mary Catherine Macaulay, on 4 February 1899.1 He died on 24 January 1955.
He was invested as a Queen's Counsel (Q.C.).2 He graduated on 12 January 1869 with a, educ Eton and Trin College Cambridge Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) 1891, Master of Arts (M.A.) 1895).2 He was King's Counsel (K.C.) in 1919.2 He was Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.) in 1920.2 He was Member of Parliament (M.P.) Londonderry N , Londonderry County and City 1922, 1923 and 1924–28, barrister Lincoln's Inn 1894, Bencher 1915, Treasurer 1938, memb Bar Cncl 1922, Recorder Colchester 1924–28, Commissary Cambridge U 1936–55, High Court in June 1922.2 He was Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1948.
