Published many papers on Endorphin research including one in Nature on the measurement of Enkephalin. Discovered how level of enkephalin rises with acupuncture. Founder of Cancerbackup the Cancer Information Charity. which merged with Macmillan Cancr Support in 2008. She had a memorial service attended by 1000 people at St Paul's Cathedral on 3 November 1987. Times and Independent obituaries in August 1987. Subject of a biography "A Special Gift" by Carolyn Faulder and Readers Digest piece in April 1989. Photo and caption in "East Garston Past and Present"
